  • It all begins with a conversation. You can start by filling out our inquiry form or scheduling a call. From there, our team will reach out to arrange a complimentary 30-minute consultation.

    During this call, we’ll get to know you — your interests, whether this is your first time to Africa, if you’re celebrating a special occasion, your budget, and any travel preferences or restrictions we should be aware of. This personal connection helps us match you with the safari or retreat that truly fits your needs. From the very first call to the moment you return home, we’re with you every step of the way.

  • Accommodations, daily meals, guided safaris or retreat activities, cultural experiences, and in-country transfers are included. International flights are not included, giving you flexibility to choose your preferred airline.

  • The length of your journey depends on the experience you choose. Most safaris and retreats range from 5–10 days, giving you plenty of time to explore, connect, and recharge.

    For more expansive itineraries — such as combining East and Southern Africa — trips can extend 14 to 18 days to fully capture the richness of both regions.

    If you’re trekking Mount Kilimanjaro, plan for 5 to 7 days on the mountain, depending on the route and pace. We’ll guide you in choosing the right itinerary to match your goals, schedule, and comfort level.

  • Absolutely! Many of our guests join solo and leave with lifelong friendships. Whether solo, with family, or as part of a group, you’ll find community waiting for you.

  • Yes. Our Impact Safaris and select retreats include volunteer opportunities with schools, nonprofits, and women-led initiatives.

  • We partner with locally owned companies, ensuring your trip supports communities on the ground. Our retreats and safaris are curated for cultural connection, impact, and authenticity.

  • Yes, we recommend visiting a travel clinic at least 6–8 weeks before departure. Commonly advised vaccinations include yellow fever, hepatitis A, and typhoid. Anti-malarial medication is strongly recommended in most safari regions. We will provide guidance specific to your itinerary.

  • We provide bottled and/or filtered drinking water throughout your trip. It is not recommended to drink tap water in most areas.

  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.

  • Meals are fresh, healthy, and locally inspired. We can accommodate dietary needs with advance notice. On retreats, menus often include farm-to-table meals designed for nourishment and balance.

  • We’ll send a detailed packing list tailored to your trip. In general, bring lightweight clothing in neutral tones, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and any personal medications. For retreats, add yoga/comfortable clothing and a journal.

  • Safaris include daily game drives, light walking, and cultural visits. Retreats often incorporate movement, reflection, and exploration. We also offer slower-paced itineraries, including Safari for Seniors.
